Portraits - Seniors
My rates are quite simple: A modest sitting fee, no minimum print order, and reasonable print prices. Typically, at least 10 proofs are available in a private on-line gallery. Sitting fee is due prior to appointment, and is non-refundable unless cancelled one week prior to scheduled sitting.

Even though there's no minimum print order, the only way to obtain prints is by ordering through me. I do not supply images on CD or USB. Facebook quality images are provided of prints that have been ordered.

Details
In order to make sure you're going to get the images that you want, we will have a pre-shoot meeting to go over ideas for clothing, poses, and locations. Having us on the same page will allow us to shoot more efficiently and make everything go as smooth as possible.
Don't sweat the details. The biggest detail is to be comfortable. Clothes, shoes, hair, makeup, etc. Wear clothes that you'd like to be remembered in, and bring several options. Hair - getting a new haircut is probably a bad idea, unless you're comfortable with the change. The typical rule is to get a haircut about two weeks before a portrait session. Makeup - don't overdo it. Remember, a portrait is a memory that you'll have for a long time. You want to look like yourself when I shoot, and it's my job to make you look even better!
If you're an athlete, bring your uniform and any other items that you want to be photographed in. Dancers, performing arts, band, etc, let me know and I'll do my best to incorporate it into the shoot.
Sessions will last anywhere from 1-2 hours. I want to make sure you don't feel rushed, and we have the time to get the best portraits possible. Multiple sessions may be needed to capture everything that we've agreed on. No additional charges for additional sessions, within reason.

Proofs
Proofs will be available approximately one week after the sitting. You will be sent an e-mail with a link to your proofs. All proof pages are password protected, so make sure you follow the directions in the e-mail to access your proofs. Share the link with family and friends, but make sure they have the userid and password, too.
If there are multiple sessions, the proofs will be updated after each session, if possible. If the sessions are consecutive days or close, the proofs from all sessions will all be available at the same time.

Photography by Mike reserves the rights to all images. All images can be used by Photography by Mike in any way (advertising, site updates, promotional materials).
